OneLink

OneLink lets you collect payments using a single reusable link. Use a fixed amount (e.g., tickets) or allow a customer-entered amount (e.g., donations). Each payment is separately authenticated, authorised, and settled.

OneLink

This streamlined approach simplifies the transaction process, offering flexibility for diverse payment scenarios. It also provides a clear, auditable record of each individual transaction, ensuring financial transparency and security.

  • Fixed amount: Set a price customers can’t change (great for registrations, events, fees).
  • Variable amount: Let customers enter an amount within limits you define (ideal for donations).

This streamlines collection across online and in-person scenarios while keeping the same secure hosted checkout.

Configure channels

  1. Under Select channel, choose how you’ll send the link (Email and/or SMS).

If Email is selected: enter recipient Email address(es) and optional Order reference.

If SMS is selected: enter Country code, Mobile number, and optional Order reference.

Payment link details

  1. Select Transaction type and Currency.
  2. Set a Link expiry date using the calendar picker.

Fixed vs variable amount

  1. For variable amounts, toggle Editable Amount ON and set minimum and maximum values.

Message & send

  1. If sending by Email, add a short message and/or select an Email template (you can edit before sending).
  2. Preview the email (optional), then Send. The link appears in Manage payment links.

Popular use cases

  • Event registration: Fixed per-ticket charge shared broadly.
  • Charity & donations: Variable amounts within a safe min/max.
  • Hospitality (brunch/iftar): Pre-payments for groups or per-person charges.
  • Classes, workshops, memberships: Collect recurring or ad-hoc fees without building a checkout.

Use OneLink in person (QR)

Convert your OneLink to a QR code with any QR generator and display it on-site—ideal for donation boxes, event check-in, restaurant tables, or service counters. Customers scan and pay on their own devices; no extra hardware needed.

Tips & notes

  • Branding & sender come from Configuration (logo, From address, T&Cs).
  • Templates: Create reusable copy in Email templates.
  • Expiry: Set a reasonable window (e.g., 3–7 days) and re-send if needed (the system creates a fresh link).
  • SMS: For mobile-first audiences, consider Pay by Link via SMS.
  • Social: To post or DM the link, see Social share.

Security reminder: never request card details by chat or email. Customers enter payment info only on the hosted payment page.
