What is Jaywan?
Jaywan is a national debit card initiative launched by the Central Bank of the UAE to enhance financial inclusion, reduce reliance on cash, and promote secure digital payments. Issued by participating UAE banks, Jaywan cards are linked to customers’ bank accounts and operate over the UAESWITCH infrastructure.

Where Can You Accept Jaywan?
Starting November, Jaywan will be available for eCommerce merchants using N-Genius Online across supported channels:
- Hosted Payment Page (HPP)
- Pay By Link / OneLink
- Mobile SDK and Web SDK
- Direct API integrations
How to Enable Jaywan
If you're an existing merchant:
We will start enabling it on your account starting November.
If you're a new merchant:
Jaywan will be enabled for you by default.
Integration Options

No action required — Jaywan will automatically be available once enabled. -
Direct API
You must update your integration to:- Support the new Jaywan BIN ranges (see below).
- Display the Jaywan logo and branding on your checkout page.

Payment Flow
Jaywan payments follow the standard N-Genius Online card flow:
- Customer enters their Jaywan card details.
- Transaction is authenticated via 3D Secure (where applicable).
- Payment is authorized and processed over the UAESWITCH network.
Reporting & Reconciliation
Jaywan transactions will appear in your merchant portal reports alongside other card payments, labeled clearly for easy identification. They are settled in AED and follow the same reconciliation cycle as your local transactions.
